Prom Appointments at The Perfect Dress
Prom shopping should feel exciting, personal, and stress-free. While appointments are not required to shop with us, we are happy to offer limited prom appointments for girls who prefer a more guided and structured experience.
Prom appointments take place in a designated section of the store, allowing you to enjoy focused, one-on-one styling time while still being part of the in-store prom energy.

Prom appointments include:
• 1 hour and 30 minutes of dedicated styling time
• A designated appointment section within the store
• A dedicated stylist focused on you
• Limited availability
Appointments are designed to provide uninterrupted styling, personalized dress selections, and a calm, organized shopping experience.
IMPORTANT: APPOINTMENTS ARE FOR ONE PROM SHOPPER
Each prom appointment is reserved for one prom shopper trying on dresses.
• One appointment = one person trying on
• Appointments cannot be shared between multiple shoppers
• If friends would like to try on dresses as well, they must book their own appointment
If your group does not see enough appointment availability for everyone:
• Additional shoppers are welcome to shop as walk-ins
• Walk-ins are assisted based on stylist availability and store volume
This policy allows us to give every prom girl the personalized attention she deserves.
IMPORTANT INFO BEFORE YOU BOOK
To reserve your appointment time, a $25 appointment reservation fee is required at booking.
• The $25 will be applied toward your dress purchase IF you purchase during your appointment (if you do not find your dress you will forfeit the $25 appointment fee).
• The reservation secures your dedicated stylist and appointment time
• This fee is not an additional cost when a purchase is made
NO-SHOW POLICY
Because appointment times are limited and stylists are reserved specifically for you:
• Failure to show up for your appointment will result in forfeiture of the $25 reservation fee
• The reservation fee is non-refundable in the event of a no-show
GUEST POLICY
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone:
• We ask that no more than 3 guests attend your appointment
• Guests may accompany you, but only the scheduled shopper may try on dresses
BOOKING POLICY
To ensure we can properly prepare for each appointment:
• Same-day appointments are not available
• All appointments must be booked at least one day in advance
• Appointment slots may fill quickly during peak prom season
If no appointments are available, we always welcome walk-in prom shoppers.

During your appointment, your stylist will:
• Learn your style preferences and budget
• Pull dresses specifically for you
• Guide you through fittings and styling
• Help narrow down options and find the dress
To keep the experience smooth and enjoyable, we may begin with a limited number of dresses at a time and pull additional styles as needed.
WALK-INS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME
Appointments are completely optional.
Walk-in prom shopping is always available and follows our guided in-store process. During busy times, walk-ins may experience a short wait so we can give every customer the attention they deserve.

Can I walk in without an appointment?
While walk-ins are welcome when availability allows, we highly encourage booking an appointment — especially on weekends — to ensure a stylist is available and dedicated time is reserved for you.
How long do appointments last?
Most appointments run between 60 to 90 minutes. This gives us enough time to explore styles, try on several options, and find your perfect match — without feeling rushed.
Can I bring guests with me?
Yes! We allow up to 3 guests per appointment. This helps create a calm, focused environment for decision-making — and ensures space for other appointments. If you would like to have more guests please give us a call so we can make different arrangements for you!
Who should I bring to my appointment?
We recommend to bring anyone who will be involved in the decision making for the dress.
What if I find a dress I love- do I take it home the same day?
Many of our gowns are available for same-day purchase and take-home. For styles that need to be special ordered or altered, we’ll guide you through the process and timeline.
Do you offer in-house alterations?
We do not offer in-house alterations, but we work closely with a trusted local tailor who specializes in formalwear. After finding your perfect dress, our team will be happy to refer you to them and provide guidance on typical adjustment timelines.
While most of our dresses fit beautifully with minimal changes, small tailoring is common — and helps ensure your gown fits like it was made just for you.
